Gaming & Leisure (G&L) knows data privacy is important to you, it’s important to all of us. G&L treats your data the same as we treat our own G&L data. G&L does our part to foster your privacy by primarily collecting aggregate traffic data for reporting, typically not personally identifiable data, unless it is personally identifiable data you share with us and we use in the normal course of business. In some instances it could be perceived G&L takes more than reasonable steps to protect your data, for example, G&L does not know of a tradeshow, conference or forum that does not provide an attendee list to its sponsors and or exhibitors and or sell their attendee list. G&L does not share or sell our G&L Roundtable attendee list. In addition, most media companies sell or rent their lists, and or allow their business partners use of their lists. When you visit the G&L website and or read G&L Digital, G&L receives data in the aggregate form and not personally identifiable information. This means G&L does not receive reporting information on who you are specifically; rather you are batched with all visitors in the aggregate to let us know metrics such as how many visitors we had and where they spent their time.
The G&L website uses Network Solutions and Google Analytics to track aggregate G&L website traffic and this data is provided to G&L in the form of aggregate reporting. Using Network Solutions and Google Analytics in this manner does not track personally identifying information of G&L website visitors. Google Analytics uses certain Cookies on our site to track general stats like the pages most visited or how long a visitor stays on the G&L website. G&L uses plug-ins on our site for administrative and technical functionality needs. G&L uses social media buttons on our website that allows you to connect with our social network. This data privacy notice is for our website only and does not extend to other individuals, companies and or websites that our website links to.
G&L Digital is created and hosted by a third party digital platform provider who uses Google Analytics to track aggregate metrics about G&L Digital visitors and this data is provided to G&L in the form of aggregate reporting. Using Google Analytics in this manner does not track personally identifying data of G&L Digital visitors. G&L Subscription Services
When you add, and or change and or delete a subscription form on the G&L website you are providing G&L with your personally identifiable data. G&L provides your name and address information to a third party mail house to physically mail you Gaming & Leisure Magazine. G&L uses your email to email you G&L Monthly. G&L uses your email to provide notices to you, for example when G&L Digital is releasing and its edition’s link, and or regarding G&L products you may be interested in and or offerings you may be eligible for example the G&L Roundtable. G&L does not sell, or permit use for the same purposes as selling, your subscription data.
Opt-Out Anytime With Ease
To opt out of a subscription, simply complete the delete subscription form located on the G&L website. To opt out of an email, use the opt out option conveniently located at the bottom of every G&L email sent via our third party email system provider. Or opt out by sending us your address and or your email that you wish to have removed at email@example.com.
G&L Roundtable Sponsor Registration Forms
When you complete your sponsor registration form on the G&L website you are providing G&L with your personally identifiable data. G&L uses your sponsor registration form to plan your sponsor experience at the G&L Roundtable. G&L uses your email to provide notices to you, for example important G&L Roundtable updates, and or notices regarding G&L products you may be interested in and or offerings you may be eligible for example an upgrade opportunity at the G&L Roundtable. G&L does not sell, or permit use for the same purposes as selling, your data in your G&L Roundtable Sponsor Registration Forms.
Only G&L has access to your data and when we refer to G&L, we mean G&L and or its agents and or contracted third parties that collects, works with and or provides data to G&L and or on behalf of G&L during the normal course of business. To cover ourselves completely we state that in the remote and not probable case that there became a reasonable reason we were required by law to share certain data, we would comply with the law. And of course, if G&L as a company in total and or a segment(s) of G&L were to be sold, and or commenced in a merger and or acquisition, and or filed bankruptcy and or was part of an auctioning of assets, and or closed and or any other circumstance that would result in a transaction similar in nature, during the course of those unforeseen circumstances we can, would and or may have to sell all or parts of your data and or transfer it to a different entity predicated on the structure of the business transaction.
G&L retains data similar to standard record retention policies and does not limit analytic data retention in order to measure and improve our performance over time.

If you are concerned about the sharing of your data, simply don’t share data with us that you regard as sensitive, because when you provide any data to G&L, despite our efforts, you do so at your own risk. G&L cannot and does not guarantee the safety of your data. Why would we say this to you? Quite frankly, if the largest companies in the world, with the very best data protection procedures, and data safety technology skill sets can and have been breached, G&L certainly cannot state we guarantee the protection your data. In addition, taking “reasonable” steps to protect your data is ambiguous and not clearly defined universally; therefore G&L cannot guarantee our definition of ‘reasonable’ with respect to the safety of your data meets your definition of ‘reasonable.’
